When I had my first son I used to use plastic disposable nappies and a very well know barrier cream that was thick and white (I’ll let you guess the brand).
That was before I discovered bamboo biodegradable nappies and Wild Sage + Co baby barrier balm. Lenny is 18 weeks and so far has never had nappy rash or a sore bottom – a different experience to my first!
I put this largely down to using the barrier balm everytime I change him, creating a barrier between his nappy and skin prevents and sores or rashes.
Bursting with nothing but natural ingredients including chamomile, calendula, shea butter, beeswax and zinc oxide you can be assured no synthetic ingredients such as parabens, SLS or fragrance are used.
Using a balm should prevent any rash or irritations occurring therefore there is no need to use a certain nappy rash cream which should only be used if your baby has nappy rash – something I was unaware of and used to use everytime I changed my first son!
