Bamboo toothbrushes are an easy and effective way to reduce your plastic consumption. Bamboo is naturally anti bacterial making it the perfect material for a toothbrush. They contain no petroleum or BPA, they clean teeth thoroughly and are kind on gums thanks to their rounded shape.
Make sure you dry the toothbrushes after use, this will prolong the life of your bamboo toothbrush. Change every 3 months.
At the end of your toothbrushes life you can snap off the head and dispose in your normal waste, the handle can be composted or repurpose and use as a cleaning tool.
Introducing the first carbon neutral toothbrush, brushing your teeth has never been more sustainable. Hydra Phil take their environmental responsibilities very seriously, from making sure their products made in China are produced in factories that have good working conditions as well as paying their staff twice the local minimum wage. It makes sense for their production to take place in China because that’s where the raw material, bamboo grows.
Bamboo is not the only renewable raw material Hyrda Phil use in their products, they also use organic cotton, caster oil and conjac root.
All packaging is plastic free and partly FSC certified, they are busy working towards all their packaging bearing the seal soon.
And finally all deliveries they make are climate neutral, they use DHL GoGreen, setting off all CO2 carbon emissions from transportation!
