BRAND ▾About PlayPress
In 2018 the PlayPress team went to their first trade show, The London Toy Show…but let’s rewind to the start!
Matthew, founding maker had spent many hours experimenting with different shapes and materials to create a buildable toy similar to Lego and Playmobil – but less harmful to the planet!
Older brother, Peter jumped on board with his knowledge of design and experience helping develop the concept to take to market.
Mike, a good friend, a talented artist and animator with a background in childrens TV was able to take PlayPress to a whole new level.
Selling the product in Portobello market they were able to get feedback from parents and children to make improvements and expand their range.
Melvin, Matthews Dad was the last piece of the puzzle to complete the team. Whilst Mike has since pursued other passions he will always be part of the team.
